Air China NewsHome > About Us > Air China News > Air China Made A Hit Of "2006 Shenyang Air China Day" Air China Made A Hit Of "2006 Shenyang Air China Day"(Reporter Pan Yuanyan, Kong Xiangyan) On July 8th, 2006, with the subject of "Carry China Connect The World", 2006 Shenyang Air China Day activity was held successfully at Phenix's Wings Square of Shenyang International Horticultural Exposition. In the meanwhile, two assembly branches were set for coordination of propaganda respectively at the departure hall on the second floor of Tao Xian airport and on the flight to Shenyang. Such an "Air China Day" activity has propagated the image, product and flight course network of Air China to the citizens of Shenyang from multi-angle and in full aspects, which aimed at promoting the reputation of Air China brand in Shenyang and Northeast area, constructing a convenient and comfortable air bridge for the economic and trade exchange and cultural communication of Northeast area. At 9:00am, "Air China Day" activity began with the image display of five stewards of Air China and the appearance of Olympic Friendlies. Mr. Hu Zhancai, vice secretary general of Shenyang city government and Ms. Zhang Chunzhi, general manager of marketing department of Air China had attended the activity and made a speech respectively. As the representative of China aerial transportation enterprise and an enterprise corporation with a good social image, Air China is always the passionate participant of social commonweal enterprise. At the activity scene--- Phenix's Wings Square of Shenyang International Horticultural Exposition, leaders of Air China donated free air tickets towards the People's Congress representative of Shenyang Disabled Persons' Federation, which again expressed Air China's support to social commonweal enterprise. Later, singers from Disabled Persons' Artistic Group expressed their thanks to Air China by their singing. At present, through the flight course network of Air China, passengers can reach conveniently more than 70 domestic destinations and 35 international and regional destinations. In recently years, Air China always devotes itself to perfecting international and domestic mutually relied flight course network, continuously exploiting joint routes product. In March 2006, with the support of Port Office of Shenyang city government and Shenyang three passes joint inspecting units, Air China made three international flight courses open to air traffic at one stroke i.e. Shenyang to Frankfort, Shenyang to Los Angeles and Shenyang to Sydney, which helped to built an air bridge to the three continents for Liaoning and Shenyang areas. In July this year, Air China will make available nine international flight courses i.e. Shenyang to Paris, London, Rome, Munich, Moscow, San Francisco, New York, Vancouver and Ho Chi Minh city. In order to coordinate "Air China Day" activity, 12 pieces of 5-meter huge pictures which were mainly about the view of the above cities were specially set at the square. They had attracted the tourists deeply and let people make a circuit of the world before coming into the garden of International Horticultural Exposition. Meanwhile, in order to propagate Air China as the airline partner of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 10 two-meter tall lovely Olympic Friendlies could be found actively around the square and in the garden and they attracted thousands of tourists to stop and take pictures with them. At the central stage of the square, Air China stewards also held an occupational costume show and organized rich and colorful games. Under the 3 big sun umbrellas at one side of the square, there were materials distributing function area which could offer membership application service and electronic tickets experience for passengers who travel a lot. At the assembly branch of the activity---the departure hall on the second floor of Tao Xian airport, two Air China newly changed luxurious business class seats had attracted the attention of the tourists. In order to improve the service and meet the requirements of advanced clients, Air China spent 0.688 billion RMB on entirely alteration of the first-class/business class seats of B-747 and A-340 planes. At present the alteration task has almost completed and the seats have already been used on the flight course from Beijing, Shanghai to Germany and America. In the meantime, the service of the two new class seats has also been improved. When passengers take seat of the two new class seats of Air China, they can experience a more fully-oriented, personal and exalted advanced service. The symbol of Air China is a beautiful phoenix, while the main assembly area of 2006 Shenyang Air China Day has been set right at the symbolic construction "Phoenix's Wings" Square of International Horticultural Exposition. "Phoenix's Wings" allegorically means that Shenyang flies high with its Wings and a beautiful future developed in harmony. On July 8th, the golden phoenix of Air China "landed" Phoenix's Wings Square, which will offer wings for Shenyang for its development to fly higher. |
